Dr Taylor certainly hits on several key topics regarding love ones and friends not understanding the fear and debilitating affects of anxiety attacks. It gives a clear picture of how it feels and is done in such a manner as to easily convey these feelings to the loved ones and friends. In addition to very effectively describing the effects of panic attacks to loved ones, it brilliantly gives absolutely workable suggestions to those suffering that will lesson the severity of attacks, and in many cases prevent them all together. Many do not like the aspect of taking medications. The author offers alternative, natural methods to accomadate like minded individuals.
The author reveals many tactics that will ease and in many cases remove many of the triggers surrounding these attacks. I have suffered from anxiety/panic attacks for several years. I have read many books on the topic. In only around 100 pages the author has given me more valuable workable, and easily understandable information that I have gained from the 1000's of pages I have in the past read. It is written in a manner that no prior knowledge is needed as he does a great job of steering clear of clinical speak.
A must read for sufferers and loved ones of sufferers.
