Glorious Country: Food, Crafts, Decorating

Glorious Country: Food, Crafts, Decorating

by Liz Trigg, Sally Walton, Stewart Walton

Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Library Journal
More a how-to than a decorating book, Glorious Country's strength is the abundance and diversity of projects that require minimal handicraft skills. The authors, contributors to various country decorating and cooking publications, give clear instructions, including templates, for decoupage, embroidery, stenciling, and many other handicraft techniques. The recipe section, divided by season, contains meals as well as gifts such as flavored vinegars and relishes. Since country decorating continues in popularity, this book is recommended for public libraries whose patrons are requesting practical how-to guides.-Gayle A. Williamson, Fashion Inst. of Design & Merchandising, Los Angeles
