    I Also Recommend:

Glorious Patchwork by Kaffe Fassett is "glorious."

I LOVE Kaffe Fassett's Glorious Patchwork. It is just that, "glorious." His quilts range from those using bold patterns and strong colors, mosaics, and geometric layouts to soft pastels and florals set side by side. His patchwork is taken from landscapes resembling farmland squares as seen from an airplane. He takes a traditional quilt pattern such as baby blocks or nine patch and livens it up with splashes of color in bright hues combining asymmetrical designs and unusual mixes of fabrics.
Each design is explained from choosing example fabrics and amounts, to cutting pieces and sewing them together (layouts are color coded). Quilting designs are suggested. Most quilts can be machine pieced and machine quilted allowing for ease and speed of completion.
