Overview

Never take a bath, eat a snack, or take a nap when there's a beast lurking behind you!
There once was a creature called Glubbery Gray who liked to eat knights. It just so happened that one day, the beast was captured by a band of eight colorful knights, who set about taking the beast back to the castle. Unfortunately, they don't know about Glubbery Gray's appetite. . . .
One by one, as the knights take their captive home, they begin to disappear. Hilarious, surprising, and a little bit ridiculous, this rhyming counting book with a twist—and a beast—features eye-popping comic-book art, a snowball fight, snakes in a can, song and dance, a pretty girl in a lake, and plenty of fun, laughter, and mischief.
