Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Kelly Kehn
Beware of the knight-eating beast name Glubbery Gray! A group of eight knights begin a journey home with a menacing beast they have captured, but their trip ends with only one and includes lots of fun. One by one, the story counts down the disappearance of each character. Their journey includes taking pictures, snowball fights, eating ice cream, a dragon on silts, singing, dancing, eight exciting knights, and one hungry BEAST! In this fable, the simplistic illustrations of the characters are large and consume most of the pages. Most of the cartoonish pictures appear on a white background and will engage young readers enough to keep them reading. Beginner readers will love the creativity and adventure in this book and be entertained by this counting and rhyming journey as they follow the tale of a knight-eating beast. Reviewer: Kelly Kehn; Ages 5 to 8.
