I have been given a few books by friends when I was recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance only to find a few tidbits in them. This book is jam-packed with useful information. For instance, I was waking up every morning feeling like I had been "glutenized" a bit. Come to find out, it was the yogurt I had been eating! I found that out in this book. I also found out information about why I had started to gain a few pounds which was the opposite of what I had expected to happen with this diagnosis. I also appreciated the discussion on iron and other nutrients and how to ensure I get enough with the new diet. This is my new best friend and a book I will be sharing with other people I know as a recommended first read for people newly diagnosed.
