I didn't care for this book the first few times I read it. It's about a grumpy little boy who doesn't like dogs but ends up befriending one. The ending is pretty cute when they finally become friends, so it kind of redeems the rest of the story. Even though this is not my favorite kids book, my toddler likes it a lot. It has nice illustrations and not too many words so it keeps her attention.

I thought I was purchasing a cute book about a boy being bothered by a dog, but I was wrong. This is about a boy who thinks he doesn't like dogs, so it was not at all what I thought I was getting. My nephew loves dogs, but I gave it to him anyway. Hopefully he just has fun with it.
