Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff is a bestselling and award-winning author living in Los Angeles who has been known to occasionally moonlight as a TV host, voice-over artist and rock journalist. A professional composer of music for television for many years, opportunity knocked and transformed him into a screen/TV writer and author featured on “Access Hollywood.” Then a podcast recorded in his car became a weeknightly drive-time radio show on Sirius Sateillite Radio. This led to a handsome feature in Playboy Magazine that compared Mark to Howard Stern and Jon Stewart.

GO FORTH AND KICK SOME ASS is for anyone who has ever suffered from the crippling self doubt that comes from feeling like your life is stuck in a rut. NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
"I wrote this book to tell you that no matter how futile it seems, there’s always a path out of the woods. Now, I’m not here to show you some kind of new-agey slight-of-hand that will magically change your life. I’m going to simply explain to you the thought process I used in order to get the ball rolling and keep it rolling. A wise man once told me that the hardest thing in the world is getting from zero to one mile an hour. Let me show you how I did it so that I could begin living the life I wanted to live. I’ll be honest with you, this book isn’t for everybody. But if you’re ready to stop feeling down about where you are in life and start moving toward achieving your goals, big and small, and if you are willing to make an investment in yourself, I want you to give this book a try."

A nice read. Read it all in one sitting. It's not short like many nook books, but was interesting. Good approach.
You have to love a book where no punches are pulled and the straight talk is dished out in an honest and unforgiving tone. Mark is right. We are all often victims of our own fears and doubts and in this book, he shows you the tools to get out of that rut and back on track. Bravo! I plan to recommend this book to all my friends who need that occasional boot in the backside!
