William L. Virden is director of the Colorado Institute for Historical Study and teaches history classes at the University of Northern Colorado. He lives in Fort Collins, Colorado. Mary G. Borg is a history teacher at the University of Northern Colorado, where she is also supervisor of student teachers in social studies and history. She lives in Greeley, Colorado.
