I just finished reading Goals for a Sinner and I enjoyed it so much. The dialogue sounds so natural to my ear and the plot was very plausible and did not feel manufactured at all. Most athletes' careers are short and injuries are something that they fear can end it in a flash. The author is obviously a big football fan, but she writes in such a way that even someone who is not a fan will enjoy the read. She captures the local flavor of Louisiana and New Orleans so well that you can almost feel the heat. The characters are well developed and I liked the humor written into the story. The sex is spicy enough without feeling like porn. I can't wait to read the next book and find out who tames Joe!

Read "Goals for a Sinner" over this past weekend.
Enjoyed it; kept my interest; good pacing. Well-drawn characters; my favorite of the support cast was 'Rev' Bullock.
Also enjoyed the descriptions of the greater New Orleans Area (where I spent many years myself).

I haven't read all that much in what some would call "women's fiction" or "romance", but I liked this novel.

    Good

This was a good book. At times it got a little too wordy. There were long chapters where nothing happend, but then the book would be good again. I would of given fiur stars if the book was 100 pages shorter!
