Overview

Book 4 in the Tales of the Order series.

Eight years ago, the Goblin people of the Shire were almost eradicated when humans poisoned their sacred springs. Since then, no Goblin infant has lived past a day old and their mothers often die too. The Sorceress has decreed that Goblins must begin breeding with outsiders - humans, in fact.

As the Goblin leader, Tearach Bruce is under orders to initiate this new decree, and he's not at all pleased. But he's desperate to save his people, so he reluctantly agrees. The woman selected for the job is Kathy Parker, a firefighter and paramedic with baggage of her own. She hasn't exactly been planning on having a baby, let alone with a big green Goblin who kidnaps her.

Tearach and Kathy are at odds at first, but they soon find themselves united against the Sorceress' manipulations. What develops between them is more intense and precious than any kind of magic.

    Outstanding paranormal romance

Eight years ago calamity devastated the Goblin race. Now there are only forty-six survivors left with no newborn surviving twenty-fours since the calamity struck. Goblin leader Tearach Bruce is despondent as he watches hopelessly the looming extinction. Medical science has failed; their last fading hope lies with the Druid Sorceress Shayla, who concludes species Goblin will be eradicated unless Tearach returns hope to his beleaguered people by siring a newborn. Tearach sees nothing new in that declaration, but figuratively stops breathing when Shayla suggests mating with the hated humans........................ Setting his loathing aside for the better good, Tearach¿s loyal followers abduct former firefighter Kathleen Parker, still in mourning from recent losses of loved ones, while she is on morning run. She has vowed never to love again because the heart takes too big a battering from that unwanted emotion. Tearach does not desire love with a human; he just needs to mate with her. Neither expected to find strong feelings with the other, but a species is at stake. Can they collaborate on the future though their cultures see the world so differently?...................... The fourth Tales of the Moon novel, GOBLIN MOON, is a terrific fantasy starring two star-crossed individuals who clash on everything as each perceives, ponders, and deduces from the same information different results and outcomes than the other yet fall in love. The comparative cultural anthropological disparities between humans and Goblins seem so genuine that readers will believe in the existence of magical creatures at least when entering the charming Sams¿ universe. Newcomers can start here as this novel stands alone, but well written references to the previous books will send the audience seeking them too as GOBLIN MOON is a wonderful tale............... Goblin Moon

As the result of an accident, the Goblin race teeters on the brink of extinction. First, enviromental poison, then psychological poison worked to depopulate a once proud people. In a last ditch effort to save his people, on orders of the Sorceress, Tearach is forced to marry a human woman, hoping to find a healing for his people on multiple levels. Despite himself, Tearach does come to genuinely like Kathy Parker, the woman chosen as his ideal mate. Yet, there are no true guarantees that this reckless scheme will work, and in fact, more than one factor stands against its success. Will true love conquer all? ............................................. *** Making a powerful allegorical statement about forgiveness and the power of the soul to influence the body, Ms. Sams re-introduces readers to the idyllic, magical land of the Order. Who says that inspirational messages can't be delivered in a package with a touch of the sensual? Whoever it was, never read Goblin Moon. ***
