- Tommy Mitchell, M.D.

The first 2/3rds of this book details the incredible story of what Tim went through in his struggle to overcome cancer. His innermost feelings and thoughts will help prepare others for the worst of what could await them in treatment of cancer, but also reveals how if you look to God and the promises of His word that you can find comfort, peace, and victory over your pain, agony, and fears. This was very enlightening and moving. The last 1/3rd of the book primarily deals with Tim's work in apologetics by showing evidence for creation by the God of the Bible, as well as a working theodicy for understanding the existence of evil in the world, especially as related to illness and cancer. Tim's wife writes a chapter and gives her perspective on what she went through during his illness. Finally, Tim's physician gives an Christian oncologist's perspective and counsel he gives to patients on dealing with illness, treatment, and tragedy from a biblical perspective.
