This little book, one of a pair in the "Learn about God" series, introduces one of God's characteristics, omnipotence, with simple statements, an accompanying Bible verse, and an illustration produced in bright, primary colors. Opposites, such as gentle and strong wind or rough and calm seas, help demonstrate the attribute. When writing for the toddler market, a proper noun should be used, not the pronoun he, which this writer has erroneously used. In spite of the technical flaw, the six-page picture book gives little ones glimpses into who God is, what God has already done and what God will do. 1999, Christian Focus Publications, $3.99. Ages 2 to 4. Reviewer: Patricia Timbrook
