When I first heard of Count Cain it was shocased in the magazine Shojo Beat. Now, normally most Shojo Beat comics are fluffy, light, and very sunny. This manga was an extreme exception. Shadowy, haunting, and deliciuosly sinful at times, this manga is a must have for Gothic fiction lovers male and female alike. The protagonist is a dark and troubled hero Cain as he travels through Victorian England unraveling horrible, disterbing mysteries with his misterious sidekick and manservant Riff. All aliong the way he encoiunters parts of his past best left forgotten as all of the skeletons come out of the closet and bigger truths become unraveled. I'm simply dying to know how this ends!
