About the Author

DuEwa Frazier is a writer, poet, educator, and speaker. She is the author of Goddess Under the Bridge, Ten Marbles and a Bag to Put Them In: Poems for Children, Shedding Light From My Journeys, Stardust Tracks on a Road and editor of the NAACP Image Award nominated poetry volume, Check the Rhyme: An Anthology of Female Poets & Emcees. Her work has been published in literary journals, magazines and online.

DuEwa has been a sought after speaker and featured author for conferences and festivals including: NCTE Annual College and Composition Conference, Sisters Defining Sisters - Temple University, CUNY Poetry Festival, Read Out Loud Literacy Festival and others.

DuEwa earned the M.Ed. degree in Curriculum and Teaching at Fordham University and the M.F.A. degree in Creative Writing at The New School.
