    I have to admit that this was not Robin Cook's best book, but it was still hard to put down after I got through the first 100 pages. The reader can easily determine who the villain is. It was a decent read, though. There was a lot of imagery throughout the book.

    Good but I've read better from Cook!

    This is my fifth novel of Cook's and I definately think that it wasn't one of his better ones. After reading Brain, Vital Signs, Abduction and a few others I have come to expect more from Cook. But nevertheless it was still good and it kept me interested for the most part.

    Interesting premise of clinical dependency

    The Godplayer was the second novel that I read from author Robin Cook and I found the story involving, but not very suspenseful. I think the guessing-game losts its drive toward the middle and we get inplausible excuses from the characters to make up for it. Nonetheless, a decent novel but could have been better.
