Gods Blueprint Book
When we read the Book of Acts and we see what took place after the Holy Spirit was given on the Day of Pentecost the Church of today should bow our heads in shame. On the very first day in the most hostile political and religious environment known to man at that time over three thousand people were brought into the kingdom of God. Within a few short weeks after that thousands more were brought into God’s kingdom. All of these people became the Church, the “ecclesia” or “called out ones”, and were assimilated into small groups, or cell congregations, all over the city and surrounding areas. From those days forward in time in less than thirty years most of the known world had been penetrated with the “good news” that “the kingdom of God was at hand”. The only means of transportation in those days was donkey, horse, small ships, and walking. Yet because of their passion to obey their Lord and make Him known to the world they went everywhere with this news and everywhere they went they were used by their Lord to bring people out of the kingdom of darkness and help them to enter into the kingdom of God. With such passion and zeal the world was being changed and Satan was fighting them every step of the way. Thousands of these “Christians” were giving up their lives in order to be Ambassadors for Christ in a world of darkness filled with false gods, paganism, demonic religions, and religions controlled by the traditions of men. This new Church that had been birthed on the Day of Pentecost was doing the same works that Jesus did when He was alive on this earth and this new Church was fulfilling the Great Commission that He had given them when He ascended from this earth and as a result many were being killed just like their Lord had been killed in order to silence Him. Even with such tremendous persecution they kept persevering and were overcoming the attacks of the Devil. The Scriptures tell us in Revelation 12:11 that “they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.” This was the Church as it was originally birthed into this fallen world and what they were accomplishing for their Lord and God. I think it would be very reasonable to think and believe that at the pace the kingdom of God was expanding and people were being birthed into it that the entire world would have easily been evangelized within the next one hundred years, but obviously something happened and it has now been over two thousand years and the Church still has now accomplished its divine mission on the Earth. Why? What has happened to this powerful living organism called the Church; the Body of Christ that was filled with the life and power of the living God?

I realize that there are some great things being done by the Church around the world, but these things are small and insignificant compared to what could and should be being done for the kingdom of God. Can you imagine what would take place around the world if every person who calls themselves a Christian were to help one person this year enter the kingdom of God? That would mean the Church that Jesus is building would double this year. If we, the Church, were to do that every year can you see what could be accomplished to change our world and how quickly it could be done? It would not take more than one generation to accomplish this task and bring Jesus back to this Earth.

The question we need to ask is “Why is this not being done?” What would happen in your town or city if every congregation where to double this year? Would it have an impact on your community?

The Holy Spirit has given us God’s blueprint for the design of His Church and how to accomplish the mission He has given it in the Scriptures. It has been there for hundreds of years, but Satan has deceived the Church with religion and the traditions of men and caused it to become blind and lost in the darkness of this world. The Church has become entangled in the affairs of and the ways of the world systems.

About the Author

Rob Board was born again in 1974 and had a dramatic transformation. He was raised as a Roman Catholic but was confronted with the reality of the Lordship of Jesus in a small Pentecostal Church of God. From that experience his life was changed forever. He became a dynamic witness for Jesus sharing Jesus with drunks in the city park and outside beer joints as well as sharing Jesus with young teens out in the streets and men in the places he went to work in. As a salesman he came into contact with all kinds including Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, atheists, agnostics, and Rob shared Jesus with all of them.

After being born again for about two years the Holy Spirit spoke to him in prayer and told him to go submit himself to a pastor named Quentin Edwards in a large Assembly of God church in order to be trained and equipped for the ministry. After about two more years he was invited to become a part of the ministerial staff. While on this staff he became the senior associate pastor and had opportunities to meet, talk with, and fellowship with many of the most dynamic ministries in the world including people like Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho, T.L. Osborn, Juan Carlos Ortiz, Joy Dawson, Kenneth Hagin, Judson Cornwall, Derek Prince, Dr. Maxwell White, Mike Murdock, Bill Gothard, Benny Hinn, and scores of others too numerous to mention. These people played an important part in his equipping because they imparted to his life a great understanding of the ways of God. While there he grew a youth ministry from about 35 to over 225, he developed the small group ministry of over 25 groups, he taught extensively, and he helped develop the exorcism ministry in which he trained people to cast out demons.

After leaving that ministry Rob pioneered an independent church ministry and started with only his family. After about nine years he resigned that pastorate and turned it over to elders in the congregation.

He currently has developed an internet teaching ministry that goes into over 120 countries every month with over 12,000 pages of teaching materials read monthly. He has been invited to go hold crusades and leadership training in a dozen countries around the world. This vast background and equipping by God has prepared Rob to share his life message with the world through his writing of books, e-books, and the internet. He also speaks at local churches no matter the size or denomination to impart the life of Jesus.
