Meet the Author

Michael S. Brown was born and raised in Valparaiso, IN. Following High School and one year at a Purdue regional campus, Mike served in the Navy for 6 years in the Nuclear Power Program. This service provided a great depth of knowledge and experience - both in engineering topics and in all the human topics associated with meeting people from all over the world.

Out of the Navy, Mike found employment in the Nuclear Power Industry for over 20 years. Positions included a Training Instructor, Middle Manager, and Senior Technical Writer.

Mike currently lives on a 20 acre Organic Farm in Southwest Michigan. Being a student of Mohandas Ghandi, Mike also finds the agricultural life creates a basis for both hard physical labor as well as creative thinking.
