"The....lake..." LeapFall was the first to speak. "What happened?" SparkPaw burst out, but she basically already knew. "Stupid twolegs..." LeafPaw muttered. SkyPrism was already running back to camp. SparkPaw followed, while LeafPaw and LeapFall ran after. LeafPaw and SparkPaw heard annoyed meows from the apprentice den saying, "You overslept again!" LeafPaw and SparkPaw gave a small smile but ran on. This was no time for jokes. "DADDY!" SparkPaw yelled. StormStar turned around, anxious to see all four she cats panting. "What happened?" He asked calmly. Then they all started talking at the same time. "The lake!" "It's gone!" "Covered by Twolegs!" StormStar listened, ears perked. Then his grayish fur stood on end. "Clan, follow me." He announced. The rest of RiverClan followed. MoonDream pressed against SparkPaw. "Oh, if we starve..." tears were running down her cheeks. "I don't want you to go through it."
