Meet the Author

With more than 100 million products in print, Max Lucado is one of America’s most widely read authors. He and his wife, Denalyn, live in San Antonio, Texas, where he serves the Oak Hills Church.

Randy Frazee is the senior minister of Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas, where he teaches and leads in partnership with pastor and author Max Lucado. Prior to Oak Hills, Randy served as teaching pastor at Willow Creek and as senior pastor at Pantego Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas, for fifteen years. He is also the author of Making Room for Life and The Christian Life Profile Assessment Tool. Frazee and his wife, Rozanne, have four children and one granddaughter.

Karen Davis Hill delights in writing for children and has written 25 books. She’s also served as Max Lucado’s executive editor since 1992. Karen and her husband, Art, are the parents of two daughters and a son. They live in San Antonio, Texas.

Josée Masse: For as long as she can remember, Josée has been drawing. Her father was a painter, and she can remember painting with him in his studio as a child. After studying graphic arts, Josée worked as a graphic designer for three years before beginning her career as an illustrator. She loves illustrating books for children and enjoys the challenge of solving problems for clients who have difficult concepts to convey. Josée now lives near Montreal, where she enjoys spending many hours in her studio.
