Meet the Author

Kathy, a minister of adult education at a church in west Texas, has been teaching the Bible to adults for more than 20 years.

In addition to discipling Christians, she also has an exciting teaching ministry for spiritual seekers and new believers. Actively involved in women's ministry, Kathy is often invited to speak at women's events and conferences.

She holds a master's degree in religious education and a certificate in women's ministry from the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary.

Married for 25 years, she and her husband, Wayne, have three children and currently reside in Midland, Texas.

    Amazing! After completing this book, you will have a solid understanding and foundation of God's truth!

    Though this book appears to be directed at the new or seeking Christian it is also an excellent book for the seasoned believer. There are many believers or those that desire to know God and know Him more intimately who hunger to know the truths of God. This book provides solid foundational teaching for just that person. Kathy Howard has included question prompts throughout the text to assist the reader in truly learning the truth that is being discussed. She has also included personal stories that bring real life experience to the topic to show application of the teaching. The "Find Out More" sections in each chapter allows the reader to dig deeper on the topic. Kathy Howard has also included a "Churchy Words Dictionary" which is very useful, a Bible reading plan, and a section to assist with scripture memorization. I provide pastoral counseling and will be using this book in my ministry in helping others find their solid spiritual foundation. A must have book that has been thoughtfully written and put together.

    Step by step journey to finding faith

    I love the way this book progresses from, "All the questions I have about faith in God and the Bible," and walks through them step by step. Easy to follow and yet solidly researched and deep. I shared the book with my neighbor and she is going through it now. She is not religious and finds it clear and easy to follow. She also has a lot of questions and many of them have been answered through the study. I love how the author recommends other resources for those who want to delve deeper into certain subjects. I highly recommend this book for those looking for answers to faith questions.

    It's like a "Knowing God 101" course-spot on!

    Kathy Howard does a spectacular job of shining a biblical light on our Heavenly Father, who he is, what that means to us-how knowing him changes our lives. With practical lessons to understanding what the Bible teaches and how we can apply those teachings, God's Truth Revealed may be just the Bible-basics study guide you've been looking for!
