Within these pages, Manvell and Fraenkel bring to life one of history’s most complicated and hated characters.

The New York Review of Books
“Manvell and Fraenkel have produced...biographies of Goebbels, Goering, Himmler, and the men who tried to kill Hitler in 1944....To the best of my knowledge there are no better biographies in existence.”

An excellent book on the behind the scene of Nazi land Germany before and after the war. Luckily for us the RUINED the Laftwaffe. He was an interesting guy. I wanted to know more about him after reading In the Garden Of Beasts with Pre-WWII american observations of Germany. Georing did not really fit in, he had a nice side at times. Perhaps the Opium made him kinder than the reast? :).

    Highly Recommend

The most complete & descriptive biography of Goering I've read. Extensive coverage of his drug addiction and his role in the plundering of Europe's most valued artwork as well as his role within Hitler's inner circle. You won't be disappointed.
