Overview

Late one night, Lucas Russell gets the surprise of his life. A beautiful--and sexy--woman drops into his backyard. What else can he do but play knight in shining armor to rescue Bree Addison? And since he's wearing just a towel at the time...well, things move from surprising to steamy very quickly.

While their fling is thrilling and sensual, Bree's got secrets, but her distracting suggestions are preventing Lucas from discovering them. Worse, this affair is on a time limit. How can he convince her to trust him enough to confess when he's got one foot out the door? But just as it seems all is lost, Lucas gets a little help from an unexpected--and supernatural--source.

Meet the Author

Jeanie has always loved to read and write. School years were spent sneaking romance novels into school when she should have been learning algebra and biology. College years were spent taking electives such as journalism and creative writing classes when she should have been taking algebra and biology.

Nowadays, she's still reading and writing. She writes romances because she believes in happily-ever-afters. Not the "love conquers all" kind, but the "two people love each other, so they can conquer anything" kind. The commitment and monogamy of romance are strong values she's passing along to her daughters, who'll search for their own heroes someday. Jeanie's own romance hero is a very supportive guy, who reads fantasy and watches football and doesn't mind eating the same meal three nights in a row while she's writing.

She spends her days caring for her family and her menagerie of strays, or being involved in any number of other family activities. She's got an enormous extended Italian family. Those who aren't related by blood have been adopted by love!

And she writes: red-hot romances for the Harlequin Blaze series, romantic suspense for the Signature Select line and dark fantasies for Tor. Her books have earned accolades, including a Rendezvous Rosebud, Holt Medallion, CataRomance Reviewers' Choice Award, Readers and Booksellers' Best Laurie Award, National Readers' Choice Award and RT BOOKClub Reviewers' Choice Award.

As far as Jeanie's concerned, she's blessed with the very best job in the world.

In New Orleans, Bree Addison is walking home to her Court du Chaud abode from her late night shift at Toujacques casino when she realizes a car seems to be following her. She hides in a nearby backyard, but sees the culprit seeking her out, dangerous Jude Robicheaux, who she once was seeing, but fled what in her mind was a bad relationship. Why Jude is in town is anyone¿s guess, but Bree assumes the worst including revenge on her dumping him. --- Wearing only a towel, software guru Lucas Russell is shocked to see a beautiful woman in his backyard. He goes out to investigate why she is there, but deep in his gut he hopes the mysterious woman dropped in to see him. As they become acquainted and even begin to fall in love, Lucas demands Bree tell him what she is hiding from him as he wants to help her. She fears if he gets too involved he will be hurt so she refuses to reveal her inner secret. As their relationship looks in peril, a ghost haunting her family plays matchmaker while Jude plans match destructor as no one walks out on him. --- GOING ALL OUT is a wonderful cotemporary romance with a touch of suspense and a pinch of the paranormal to enhance the prime plot of the relationship between Bree and Lucas. The cast make this a fun read as the audience will root for the lead couple, hope that the ghost receives his just awards and that Jude his just desserts. Jeanie London provides a fine follow-up to the Red Letter Nights anthology. --- Harriet Klausner
