Hot, sexy and definitely worth the time, I loved GOING FOR IT because falling hard and fast for two witty, feisty and completely honest characters that do nothing if not capture your heart and take you on the wild ride that is their love story.
RT Book Reviews - Jaime Geraldi
Readers will wholeheartedly enjoy the cat-and-mouse game the main couple plays. Expect a large dose of spice, surprises, and a story that's perfect for the front page of a tabloid. The sequel to Playing For Keeps is a touchdown! - Romantic Times Book Reviews

    Read "Playing for Keeps" First

This is a short conclusion to PLAYING FOR KEEPS and tells the story of the support characters in that book... It is a cute/sad story of two people who have had to overcome difficult childhoods to reach the pinnacle of their respective careers... It is little more than a single sitting to read but if you read the first book it fills in the blanks and answers questions raised in Book One...

Let first of by saying this more I feel of a novella rather than a book. The story is short and picks up where "Playing for Keeps" ended. However, even though this is a short book it was too the point without being overly drawn out.

The story of Hannah and Ryan also like the previous book felt relate-able other than the professions. The insecurities not wanting your heart to fall for someone who can break it. Especially since both of these characters have a very rough past. through this book we learn more about them and as we do we watch them transform and begin to learn how to do stuff they never though they would ever do. Not to mention I love the ending to this story.

Please read these books in sequence in order to get to know the characters and their stories. They are very enjoyable.

    Happy Reading!!

Going For It by Liz Matis was an entertaining read & it did

Going For It by Liz Matis was an entertaining read & it did not disappoint! Jake, a pro football player, & Hannah, a Victoria's Secret model, once had a brief, yet hot fling that ended too soon. After seven months apart, they are reunited at their friends' wedding. From there, the flames gets rekindled & these two spend more time together in & out of the bedroom. However, Hannah has a past that doesn't let her trust or love easily. And Jake is determined to break down her walls as well as make her see herself as the beautiful woman that she is.

Going For It was such an enjoyable read I didn't want it to end. It had all the ingredients in making a great story: in-depth characters, a well-developed plot & storyline, and good pacing of the story. Although short, the story didn't feel rushed or incomplete. Instead, it felt...just right. Overall, Going For It was a light, sexy, and sweet contemporary romance that I highly enjoyed reading. Highly recommend this story for anyone seeking out a satisfying read that will leave you with a smile :)
