A must read - Highly recommended

Absolutely love this book. It has plenty of styles and great suggestions for caring for your hair in it's natural state. Very inspiring and she also has a website that I go to at least three times a week. If you are transitioning from a relaxer I highly recommend this book and the website as well. Booth will keep you inspired to continue your natural journey and not give up because when you see all the beautiful natural styles that are displayed you will want to continue to striving to have healthy natural hair.

This is a good book for those who are new to going natural. I went natural when I was 13 and it was 1995, so there was not this whole natural community thing going on, but this is a basic book to get you started and she's sharing her experience. Those naturals who have been in it for a while might not find it helpful, but I think it is a nice addition to my other hair care books. I also have the Science of Black Hair, Chicoro's Grow It, and Natural Hair Care and Braiding by Diane Carol Bailey.
