Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

‘Charming read. . . full of details that had me imagining mini stories about the other characters. The style of illustration is realistic, and the story is a great depiction of going swimming.’

Going to the pool with small kids really is like this, from the start when you battle in a tiny cubicle to get everybody's layers off, to the water which is never warm enough, to the fight back in the changing rooms when everyone can hear you shrieking at your toddler to get away from the drain. Yet it feels so satisfying afterwards.

'Here is the ideal way to show your toddler what happens at the pool. . . A real understanding of the realities of family life is the highlight of these warm and reassuring books.'

'These books are absolutely lovely. They should do very well for the really young person who might be about to go and do one of these things.'
