A weapon for all women, this book is a must read for 2012. If every women in the world was to read this book, these men would not know what hit them. I have told all of my friends and family about it. I am so tired of ladies getting disrespected in the media, on the streets and in thier own homes! If you are too, join the movement and get this book ASAP.

The saddest thing about this book is that it wasn't written twen

The saddest thing about this book is that it wasn't written twenty years ago with a volume one, two and three. It should be required reading for every young lady by the time she reaches 15. What the men and happily married women who've written negative reviews don't seem to grasp is that the majority of men (I didn't say all) operating in the dating pool are seriously up to no good. Unfortunately for us, and very fortunately for them, the women they encounter have been fed with so much male driven media misinformation that we are merely sheep led to the slaughter. I am a smart, well educated, woman with my own life and all my years of dating, simply searching for my other half have been filled with the men Baje describes in her book. Most men consider me a 9 or 10 on the scale for both looks and intelligence, especially since I went to UC Berkeley, but that never stopped them for exclusively trying to use me for sex. I'm talking about men from A list celebrities and multi millionaire fund managers down to your average every day Joe Some walking through the grocery store. All of them. I had to become a prude in order not to be turned out as a whore. For years I had a problem with the word "gold digger" and realized it was a male dominated term used to make sure men never had to lift a finger to provide for the women they date or merely sleep with. But they sure do want that sex and will do ANYTHING and tell any lie to get it. How can anyone be mad or disappointed because Baje Fletcher, the author, was smart and ambitious enough to not only figure out how to even the playing field but share that information with the world?

When you break all this terminology and dating down by sexes and our traditional roles it makes so much sense. A hundred years ago men would not think of approaching a woman unless they had something to offer her financially. My PhD educated grandmother even told me that if a potential beau wanted her to write him (the popular form of communication of the day), he had to provide the paper, the envelope and the stamp. Men understood they were the providers and protectors and no one had a problem with the equation. After they became financially secure they went out and found a wife to love and have sex with. Fast forward to today, after the sexual revolution (which is another short cut women don't realize works in men's favor) where we have what I like to call "Last Call Marriages". You know the type when the bar tender yells "last call!" and the men are scurrying around to make sure they have a woman to go home with for the night and do what married folks do? So for the past sixty years, modern men have figured out a way to still receive the sex but without protecting or providing. Baje has just figured out, and thankfully shares with the rest of us, how to make the man a provider without having sex. Evening the playing field plain and simple. Gotta love it!

Can't Recommend The Book Highly Enough

I was a non-believer until I ordered this book and read it. This book is necessary for EVERY woman out there. There is knowledge that we, as women have been "sheltered" from and it is the knowledge that keeps men in power, and always leaves us with less. I am a psychology in advertising major but still had never seen between the lines until I read what this author has to say...sometimes it takes the right person, who has practical, field knowledge of a subject, to put forth the words that will inspire the understanding. I have read this book cover-to-cover three times now, and I do recommend more than one reading, just because some of the concepts are so foreign to what most women are constantly fed by the media and other bogus sources, that it does take a bit of pondering to really sink in. However, this book is now my "Bible" and in all honestly changed my attitude and life forever once I understood. I was searching for self-help when I came across this book, and yes, it DOES HELP...I cannot recommend it highly enough.

A must read for all women

This book is a guide for women on how to date without getting taking advantage of and how to work toward financial independence. Some of the other reviews would have one think that the book is evil, but it's not. Women are conditioned to be relationship oriented and subservient to men and this has created a lot of grief for those of us who are leaders and naturally more extroverted but still desire romantic interactions with men. Though the book does not teach how to maintain a purely romantic relationship, it does teach protection in a hostile and merciless male dominated environment. It teaches the art of war in dating and women need strategies and tactics! I thoroughly enjoyed the book and other women will too.

    A Twist Of Knowledge

" A Gold Diggers Guide (How To Get What You Want, Without Giving It Up!) is very inspirational, motivational, and without a doubt very knowledgeable. When I first read the title "A GOLD DIGGERS GUIDE" I said to myself " How could someone write a book teaching teens to woman how to be a GOLD DIGGER? " however, as I read the book it wasn't about being a gold digger and that's where the twist of knowledge comes in because its really about a woman GOAL aka GOAL DIGGER. I loved the fact how she told her stories and taught a lesson with each story, what man to look for, how to read him before you approach him, she tells you to write your GOALS down, and prioritize them, and not to give up because with every man there will be a no but IF you follow what is being said in the book you will get a yes every time you ask for something that leans towards your GOALS. When I read the part where she said " it's OK for a man to ask for sex on the first date but, when a woman asks for money or something she's labeled a gold digger, if a guy can ask for what he wants, then why can't we as woman ask for what we want. " I said to myself " she is so right. " rather it be money to a house, that's part of everyones goal. Everyone wants to be financially stable, have a car, a nice house, go to college, and own their own business....etc. Basically this book is very motivational with a twist of knowledge when I started I couldn't stop this book definitely deserves 5 stars.

Playgirlz1 says this a great read 5 stars

Every lady should want to be financially stable and this book is very motivational to help you see where you are going with knowledge to help you on your way. This book is a guide for women on how not to date Mr. Wrong and get taking advantage of as so many women do and to respect yourself with looking in to financial independence with a touch of street smarts for you new gold diggers and old that just need to touch up there plan that lack it in seeing so many new diggers out there being used for the advantage's in a mostly male dominated world and can really use this information. Don't let the title of the book distract you from the true message in it and I know first hand and can tell you that it works.I highly recommended it if you plan on getting in the movement as you will see when you read the book. Great Read

I enjoyed confirming what some women think. I think that this is a must read for men and women. This book is a tool  for building self esteem and helps give direction and focus.  Everyone dates with a goal and this book offers a focal point for those that want or need it. I think that  some of the lessons are better learned here than on your own. The author has included some personal examples that are helpful in making her point.  I have recommended this to my sister and cousins, I hope that they gain as much as i have.

Great, great, great book. I don't care what people say, women have been conned into giving it up so easily to men, that men no longer have to earn the rights to the candy.
In the meantime, women who ask for more are made to feel guilty. I read this book almost 3 years ago and I can't say how much it has impacted my life. I've achieved so much with the help of Baje and believe me, you can to.
On a side-note, Baje is so nice and always responds to messages from her fans, another reason to love her.

Her advice has changed my life...for the better

I had no idea this book would change my perspective in such a positive way. Thank God for Baje Fletcher!
I sat down to read TGDG and was completely engrossed. After finishing the book in 2 days, I immediately started reading it again.
As a single lady living in Miami, Florida (a hotbed of men trying to play you for a fool) A GoAL Digger's Guide has become my new Bible. Baje provides many shortcuts to reading men, but also (very importantly) reminds us that while dealing with men, to always keep our GOALs in mind. By defining my wishes and goals and following some of her golden advice, my life started changing for the better immediately.

She offers a few exercises and a lot of solid advice!
Pay special attention to the last chapter on investments as she simplifies some otherwise intimidating money matters.
    Great book! Highly highly recommend.
**Baje deserves to have her own advice show.

... I read this book in just 3 hours which Baje tells me is some kind of record :)
As soon as my best friend told me about this book I was keen to devour its contents.

Of course I came at it with a healthy degree of skeptecism.

I expected to find a mean, vindictive maneater with a man-sized chip in her shoulder. What I found was a focused streetwise alpha female with an arsenal of tips and techniques for getting what she wants from very rich sometimes powerful men.

Having a rich background in Psychology I appreciated her road tested ideas and her singleminded focus on not dropping her 'stocks' (value).
She is certainly very worldly wise and can certainly mentor those with a low sense of worth to raise their standards.

Some things I would like to have seen were:

A softer side to Baje when talking about 'Shame on Me'. It seemed as if her 'performance' was always flawless and it would have been useful to have seen where she's tripped a little and felt vulnerable.

How she overcame in situations where she found a man particularly alluring. Or how she feels inside when she meets a man who makes her bite her bottom lip.

I would also have liked her to expand on the lessons she has learned from powerful men because otherwise her offering could seem a little one-dimensional.

Are powerful men just good for buying clothes and shoes? Or have they helped Baje evolve into something greater?

Also curious to know how Baje describes a 'good man'
    - His look, does he have a way about him, his energy, his touch - From what she has experienced is she closer to finding or experiencing a man she would want to give herself to? Who knows? Keen to find out.

Overall I enjoyed the book - Great to get inside the mind of a very determined member of the opposite sex.

If this is chess, then it's your move Baje :) ...
