Shadow Over San Mateo
Tricia's grief over the loss of her father drowns out any joy she might feel for winning the Triple Crown. Even racing has lost its spark, and she wonders if her gift with horses died with her father. How can she ever recover?
Out of the Mist
After a summer-long losing streak, Tricia is nearly ready to quit racing altogether. She's still overwhelmed by grief, and her father's journal seems to be the only source of comfort. Will she ever find the lasting peace he knew so well?
Happy to be back in Portland, Tricia is ready for a fresh start and a new racing season. But trouble at her home track makes Tricia the target of chilling threats as she campaigns to expose the culprit.
Tricia's successful racing career now puts her in the spotlight as a corporate spokesperson--to be featured in a television commercial! Her excitement is dampened, however, by continued threats on her life.
The Winner's Circle
As she battles to recover from a tragic racing accident, Tricia wonders if winning has come at too high a price. But she soon discovers God's perfect plan for her life goes beyond anything she could ever imagine.

I liked the book but it was soo unrealistic and what a dumb name," golden filly" implies that the book is about a filly but it isactually a colt. The book was also very predictble but it was still a page turner. Overall i loked it i recomend it for any one der then 6.

Fast paced with a ton of suspense toward the end. Charecters are very real. Wonderful sequel to the first volume! Spectacular page turner with cliffhangers at the end of nearly every chapter. A little bit of romance but its definitly not a "fluffy love book". I would recomend this book to any horse lover, horse racing fan, or any body else who enjoys a good book.

And i love it! A book that makes you feel what the characters are feeling is a winner. You get sucked into trish's depression and climb out into the light with her. I also love how she goes through what many teenagers do and stays " normal" even though shes won the triple crown and is like a celeb. And all through the book you feel her struggles with God and her faith. I did feel thay towards the end the whole thing got a little off track with that guy stalking her and trying to kill her. (and by the way i suspected him from the second she meets him and was not surprised when he was revealed. No im not naming names here that would ruin it for everyone else.) I felt like it turned into a action/ mystery story and thats not what it started out as. Even so, trish is still trish through it all and i would highly reccomend this book to any body wanting a good christian book and an eye- wetter. Was this review helpful? To the person who said Golden Filly is a dumb name for the book. The writer picked the name Golden Filly cause Tricia is the Golden Filly. Shes a GOLDEN winner and shes a girl so FILLY is a tpye of nickname for a horse lover and race lover. Do you get it now. Sorry just wanted to point that out i love these books. Go Golden Filly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

There is no subject, but it has to be something pertaining my little pony. E.g. Sparkles in the Sky, a book I was writing. The Dark Side, the other side of Solar Eclipse, or The Pony Games, both written by eeveeprincess01 on chicken smoothie. Rules (we all hate em, but gotta have em.): 1. Censored eroctics are fine. 2. The writing can be a story, of at least three pages or a poem or song of three verses. 3. No copywriting, meaning no copying off of another story. 4. Must be new and original, dont put 'my story' then 'at _______ all results!' 5. Crossovers are allowed, e.g. Rise of the Equestrian Guardians- ROTG//MLP cross, Equestria's Bravest- Brave//MLP cross. Winner gets either 200 eqqus on howrse, a giraffe horse on cs, a webkinz item or food, or an animal jam item. Maybe three. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. The first two books in this collection are really depressing and sad:( I actually gave up reading it after Tricia started to become depressed and angry and the book actually hinted at her thinking about suicide... it's just so sad and non-uplifting! Now, I can't tell you what the last books are like in collection 2, so those might be way more sweet and fun like the first collection was. I'm sorry if I sound picky, I really am. BUT, it is written excellently with fantastic flow! And the emotions, even the depression that I didn't like, was very realistic. Overall, it was disappointing, but please, don't take only my review into account! Go ahead and check out everybody else's reviews, because they are very favorable. It might just be me:D Blessings and may you feel God's joy!

This is one of the best books i have ever read!! Very emotional and it is a christain book!! I love Trica Evanston even though she went threw some thought times she learned a great lesson! I even cried sometimes! Her dad died and she made it through God! I do not think i could have as much courge as her to make it through.
This is an amazing book! I suggest that you should read the whole series! It will touch your heart!
