    Awesome book

    I was hooked from page one and couldn't put this one down. It's a fast read with a lot of unpredictable moments that you don't expect. It's a romantic mystery with lots of layers. The author really delivers a complete book. I really appreciate a story that has a lot of depth to it. Recommended.

    Very enjoyable

    A good, meaty read with romance and mystery and intriguing characters. I liked the San Francisco setting and the mix of cultures in the story line. Very fun.

    Excellent Read

    This is my first read from Barbara Freethy and I must say I loved it! I read the overview and downloaded it to my Nook only after I learned it took place in San Francisco, my favorite city to visit. I'm from NY and love our many trips to San Fran. It was so nice knowing the street names and areas that were discussed and the culture of the Chinese art. Very worth the time and the money on the book. I now feel good about reading another Freethy book in the near future.

    Fascinating!

    Wonderful, fascinating story, kept my attention from the very first page. I enjoyed seeing how the characters grew through the story and how their relationships with others influenced their actions and motivations. Very well written book.

    Great book

    Very entertaining and intelligently written. Kept me guessing. Fast pace. Loved all the twists along the way and the way various cultures played into the story. Fun read!

    Sensational!

    I am a big Barbara Freethy fan and ordered this one early in eager anticipation of another good story. What I got instead was a GREAT story. I absolutely loved this book -- couldn't put it down. The premise of an ancient Chinese dragon being publicly valued on an Antique Roadshow type of program hooked me at once. I don't want to give away too much, but what happens to everyone involved with that dragon is a fascinating story --actually mutiple stories that all come together at the end. I loved the San Francisco setting, especially the scenes in Chinatown. And I have to admit I did not know how this one was going to end -- how all those seemingly disparate stories would converge -- and I was on the edge of my seat until I got there. What a fabulous journey it was! I cannot recommend this book too highly.

    Highly Recommended! Great Book!

    Once I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down! Was excellant reading all the way through! Barbara does a great job of writing and keeps her readers "hooked" on finishing the story!!!

    Another great book by Barbara Freethy!

    I enjoy a good love story and that is what I get with every Barbara Freethy book. The character's are so detailed I feel I know them personally. I enjoyed the book so much I hated for it to end.

    Enjoyed it immensely!

    I love Barbara Freethy's novels. I've read several and haven't been disappointed. The characters are well developed and the stories just draw you in! You could see this plot unfolding as the relationships intertwined. This mystery with a little romance was a wonderful story that I couldn't put down. I wish there had been an epilogue to really finish it or at least the anticipation of a sequel. I enjoyed the story and characters so much I hated for it to end!
