What a wonderful book! It is simply written; however, it is packed with excitement! The simple pride and joy shared between a father and son on a fishing trip. It is the first book that our son "read" out loud by himself. As a junior kindergarten assisgnment, each child had to pick a book to "read" to the class. And our 4 year old chose Gone Fishing. We were so proud to hear him read his first book out loud to his class. It took a lot of courage for a four year old to accomplish this. This book reflected his fishing trip as well with his daddy. Gone fishing, my daddy and me. Thank you Earlene Long!
