I purchased this book after getting "Joy of Cooking" and I actually enjoyed this one more. The recipes have been fantastic so far. Every chicken dish that I've made has been utterly delicious and their "Italian" twist on the meatloaf turned out to be the best meatloaf I've ever cooked. I'm thrilled with this book and will probably get it for my daughter and my daughter-in -law for Christmas!

This truly is the best cookbook I've ever had. Cooking is so much more enjoyable when you have successful dishes. With this cookbook, that is easy to do. There are so many great recipes in here, not just a few. I like how they give you not only comprehensive cooking information, but a little information with each recipe. You don't feel like you're going into a new recipe blind. I highly recommend this cookbook.
