Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

"A fantastic children's book series. . . . What a great way to reminisce about places your kids call home or your favorite summer vacation spots."  —Modern Mom

"Appealing as a way to connect children to images of places they know and love. Of note are the charming illustrations, which are colorful, simple and evocative, with a particular emphasis on depicting families of all ethnic backgrounds."  —The Associated Press

She asks me to read this with her every night. It starts with good morning and finishes with sleep tight...perfect for bedtime! She enjoys the predictability of it and I love that is shows major points of interest and history of California is a very child-friendly way. I bought one for my niece and nephew too!
