Overview

Goodbye, Little Rock and Roller is an inventive and original book from Nashville singer/songwriter Chapman, who uses twelve of her most resonant songs as entry points to many of her life's adventures. Highly recommended memoir from one of Nashville's legendary songwriters

This second edition of Marshall Chapman's memoir, based around each chapter being anchored by one of her songs and the process leading to its writing and recording, as a welcome relief from the more predictable writings from the more idle f the road Nashville recording artists, those unwilling to take the courageous road followed by Ms. Chapman over the last 3 decades.

The photographs with each chapter bring the words even more to life, and in this edition are reproduced with much higher quality than in the first edition. All in all, a great read.
