Great book, with all the great things only New Orleans has to offer. Some great facts about historical places at the end of the book. A must have for every little New Orleanian.

This book is a wonderful addition to a children's library. It teaches New Orleans and Gulf Coast children what is so unique about New Orleans. The illustrations are so brilliant and make the story come to life. Very enjoyable for children and adults, too! For those who love all things New Orleans!

This book is a great teaching tool for anyone who is curious about New Orleans. It truly captures the spirit and everything that New Orleans is famous for. I love reading it to my daughter and teaching her about where her parents are from and where her grandparents live. I would recommend it to anyone! It is AWESOME and a fun read!

It takes a familiar story and personalizes it with New Orleans references. The brilliant colors of the illustrations will captivate young children. It's the perfect bedtime story. A must have book for any children's library.

I really enjoyed this book. It made me think about all of the good food I would miss if I were'nt in New Orleans. If uou are aquainted with the cuisine of this great city it will make you salivate as you read about these favorites. I also recommend "The Beignet that Almost Got Away"

Most parents are very familiar with the children's classic "Goodnight Moon". Both of my daughters loved that book. When my nephew was born we handed it down to him. His parents read it to him constantly. Thankfully at this time they had come out with additional "Goodnight" books. My brillant neighbor wrote "Goodnight Nola". His wife mentioned they were no books about New Orleans geared towards very young children. With this in mind and for the love of their young daughter (whose favorite book was "Goodnight Moon") he wrote this wonderful story combining New Orleans favorites and history to greatly satisfy any young child. The rhyming is like a song. My nephew is already repeating lines! Not so unusual since it is read to him throughout the day! The illustrations are done beautifully to catch your eye. I am 42 and never get tired of reading and looking at it. It catches the uniqueness of our beloved city while giving our younger children a glimpse of what our city is known for. "Goodnight Nola" is the best gift you can give any child. I promise they will enjoy it for years to come and hopefully will hand it down to their own children someday!!!
