Gospel Bluegrass Homecoming Vol 1 is a great collection of bluegrass gospel favorites by some of the very best bluegrass bands. There is something for everyone, from incredible instrumentals in "Bluegrass Breakdown" (Marty Stuart) and "Lee Highway Blues" (Stuart Duncan) to the searing vocals of "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" (Sheri Easter), "If You Don't Love Your Neighbor" (Rhonda Vincent) and "Get Up In Jesus' Name" (Marty Rayborn). For the most past, the songs are catchy toe-tappers that will have you singing along and praising the Lord. The only disappointments are "Yes I Know" (Gaither Band) and "Sunday Meetin' Time" (Jake Hess) -- good songs for the contemporary Christian taste, but sadly out of place on this album. All in all, highly recommended!
