This is a good introduction to the Gospel of John for people who are new to the Bible or New Testament. Important issues relevant for older Christians are not included in this introduction but are available in more advanced commentaries on John's Gospel.

The Word of God is always highly recommended. John's Gospel has universal applicability. We can all relate to Jesus as the Son of God as written by the Apostle John.

If you say the Bible is bad, your wrong. So, please stop offending the Bible. Would'nt that count as sin? Pleasstop. LW

The Gospel of John is said to be the perfect place to start in the New Testament, being a touch different than the other three Gospels, which are called the Synoptic Gospels. I concur. I cannot rate it more highly, even if it is different, than the Synoptic Gospels. The opening of John's Gospel, "In the Beginning was the Word...," just stays with me always, and it is nothing short of riveting in its veracity. A perrenial favorite along with the rest of the Holy Judeo-Christian Scriptures, including the Apocrypha, cause mankinds euyes to remain aware of truth and light and light and of the Love of God like no other written work. A must read.
