I love this cookbook because the dishes are elegant looking and out of the ordinary, yet offer variety and simplicity, not to mention flavor. I've had this book for the last few months, and I've already tried 6 of the recipes. I love the unique blend of flavor in the Shrimp & Corn with Basil, and the best part is that it's one of the easiest & quickest recipes I've ever made. It makes a great summer meal and doesn't leave you feeling overstuffed. My favorite so far is the Roasted Mussels with Almonds and Garlic. I've used the mussels as a main dish alone as suggested, and I've also doubled all of the ingredient, except for the mussels, and served it over linquini with salad & bread. Talk about a gourmet feast! And yet it was so easy to make! The Sauteed Sea Scallops with Mustard Sauce were also a winner! I also appreciate the fact that many of the ingredients are easily found at the grocery store. I could go on and on, but to keep it brief - I recommend this book for anyone who wants fast, easy meals, without skimping on flavor and visual appeal.
