This is a treasure trove of New York's hidden and greatest finds. It covers all 5 boroughs and has recipes to escort a compilation of great sources for great food. Each location has its own legacy. We know a number of the places in Manhattan and can vouch for their reputation. For foodies, this is the roadmap. We cannot wait to venture out to the outer boroughs for more great finds from this book!

Just bought a second one as a gift

I enjoyed my copy so much that I just bought more as gifts. Who needs another bottle of wine or candle? Give this great book instead.

Secrets unvailed of the best NYC gourmet shops

Consider this visual treat a must-own for serious foodies and cooks alike. Stunning photography best likened on a full stomach otherwise the hunger pains become woefully apparent. Here's an excellent gift for a friend who shares your love of foraging. Wish 'Gourmet Shops of New York' had a glove-compartment size edition for my travels throughout the wonderful and exciting boroughs of NYC. Susan Meisel and Nathalie Sann have written an endless quest for the best.
