About the Author

Barbara Glazier-Robinson, Ph.D., a former speech-language pathologist, and recovering psychologist, has been working with and helping children her entire career.

Born with what a colleague called "the going foot," Barbara is an avid traveler. Her most recent journey was to Cambodia to help fund a fresh-water project for the Singing Kites School in Phnom-Penh.

Her first book, Grace from Space: A Race To Save Earth, was fueled by total frustration over immigrant children being separated from their parents and tossed into detention centers like sacks of potatoes. To create a better ending for these children, she wrote "a better story." (Thank you, Gail Larson.)

Mostly, she hopes this book will be a ton of fun for children in grades three through six who love superheroes, feisty heroines, magical settings, mayhem, mischief and hijinks, happy endings, and joyous outer-space fairytale adventures.

The book may have been written to appeal to children between eight and eleven, but the message is universal and for all ages. It is dedicated to mighty girls and women of all planets waking up to find the power of their voices to ignite change. Check out her photo. She will help anyone find their voice.

Barbara currently resides in majestic Sedona, Arizona, with the love of her life. (Sedona is slightly more beautiful than planet Dream Catcher.)

Ignite your Dreams
I am in love with this story line. It ignited my dreams an imagination. The author has a gift of writing and telling a playful story with lessons that are valuable to the reader, no matter what age. It teaches the value of compassion, love, prayer, dreams, and so much more. I can not wait to read the next one and pass down to my 12 year old daughter.


Brilliant story
My 9 year old daughter loved this book. She adored following Grace's journey of being a Dream Catcher Kid and what that meant to the kids on earth. This book has a great message of what empathy means. How you can raise to do whatever you aspire to do even if you have a hard time overcoming certain obstacles. Highly recommend to little girls that like a great book of fantasy.

Grace from Space is an engaging book, filled with hope for people of all ages. While written for adolescents, Grace and her friends help us see how we can live our dreams. We are all part of the same universe, and working together, we can improve the world. It helps people learn empathy and compassion, contribution to the world, and how to work cooperatively. It is a lovely book for the young and young at heart.


Heartwarming story about overcoming the worst fear
This book touched my heart and soul. Changing the future, one child at the time. This book talks about so many important parts of our being and situation in the modern world, about fear, letting go, chasing dreams and changing the world. And through a beautiful story reveals the truth about power of compassion. I wish every child could read it, our future would be so different.
