Meet the Author

To write or not to write. It isn't so much a question as it is a need. With so many characters vying for a chance for their story to be told, it's little wonder this California native took the plunge and penned a short romance.Miriam finds pleasure in bringing her characters to life, giving them a chance to tell their story as only they can. She writes what interests her--contemporary and, most recently, sci-fi/fantasy--and always ensures her characters find the happily-ever-after they rightfully deserve.

    Decent and quick read

This was the second book that i have read by this author (my first was Madison and I would recommend it!) and i enjoyed it. It was great for a free book! (So everyone who says its too short, may i remind you that it was free!) It is about 63 pages long, a very quick read if you're busy like me. It is a sweet love story, about how love can overcome past heartbreak. I would say it begins to get predictable as you read on, perfect for those who don't enjoy cliffhangers! I was not as impressed as i hoped i would be, however this book is, yet again, FREE, but if you're looking for a sweet, short read, the i would recommend! Thank you for reading!

    Nice & short

This story was pretty good. The first page was a little confusing in how it was written. But it's a nice little read, would love for it to have been a longer story though.

    Not horrible but...

This story is so short that it has no time to evolve. There is basically no plot and the characters are very weak. It's a bit like reading "See spot run" in 30 some pages.

    good book

    Aubu1964
Derek went to a bar where Gracelynn worked as a bartender. And he brought his good friend James also with him. Derek and James played pool while they waited for Gracelynn to finish her shift at the bar that night. Derek was really drunk and James did not know where Derek had lived because he kept moving. James had broken Gracelynn's heart and he was staying with Derek for two weeks. They were girlfriend and boyfriend until 10 years and now after 11 years he is trying to get back with Gracelynn. The second week that James was their. He was with Gracelynn all that week. He had gone a brought her a sapphire engagement ring and asked her to marry her again. And she answered yes she would merry James. They had gotten married on New Year's Eve. I really enjoyed this novel again because my cousin had a rough year and they got married on New Year's Eve 2012. Now they are both happy just like the book I just finished. ShelleyMA

    more from this reviewer

What a wonderful but predictable short love story! This was clea

What a wonderful but predictable short love story! This was clean and well=written. Mirriam's talent is very enjoyable yet sometimes uncomfortable due to her steamy situations. This, however, is very clean.

    OK

This book was okay but I disliked the use of a swear word in one part. Like all of these books, this was way too predictable. It was also very short. However it was very sweet. It wasn't exactly a waste of time.
