Criticas
Gr 2-4-Since Trisha comes from a home where everyone reads, she is expected to read too. In school she senses that all her classmates have begun to read. Things get worse when the other students start to make fun of her. Trisha seems doomed to failure until her fifth grade teacher, Senor Falker, takes her aside and promises to teach her to read. With the assistance of a reading specialist and lots of patience and love, he succeeds. The gift Senor Falker gives to Trisha is not only a love of reading but her dignity and self-esteem. All first-year teachers should read this inspirational book.
