Meet the Author

Sandy Lynne Holman received her M.S. degree in School Counseling from California State University, Sacramento in 1991. She is the director of the Culture CO-OP, an organization she started to assist those who are working with diversity in education, business and the community. Sandy's experiences as a counselor, prevention coordinator and consultant for the past several years have given her a practicioner's insight into the challenges diverse communities and organizations are facing and a strong commitment to advocacy for children.

Robert has worked as a professional artist for over 10 years. He has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from children's stories to large concert backdrops for artists such as Carlos Santana and U2. As a graduate of The Academy Art University in San Francisco, he has garnered numerous awards. The founder of the greeting company Rockfish Designs™ (rockfishdesign.com), Robert has returned to teach at his alma mater to give back to the next generation of artists.
