Editorial Reviews

Endorsement inside book - Karen O'Connor
Practical suggestions, inspiring prayers, and real-life experiences from today’s grandparents make this book a ‘must-read’ for any grandmother and grandfather who want to share Christ with their grandchildren, but face obstacles from family members who disagree with Christian beliefs or who are resistant to any influence but their own. Help and hope are here! ~ Karen O'Connor, Author
Endorsement inside book - Jim Ertel
As a grandfather of six, I highly recommend Grandparenting Through Obstacles to every grandparent. I cannot remember a time when the role that grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren has been more desperately needed. This book is an essential resource to help in that endeavor. The use of true, heartfelt stories to convey a message and model Christ-like solutions is powerful. ~ Jim Ertel, Founder, Heart of the Family Ministries
Endorsement inside book - Christine Crosby
Three cheers for Grandparenting Through Obstacles. One of the most difficult challenges in life is having a strong desire to influence your grandchildren in a positive way and having the parents oppose you. This book gives great hope and practical advice to Christian grandparents who face this challenge. ~ Christine Crosby, Editorial Director, GRAND Magazine, The Online Magazine for Grandparents

Lots of kids have difficult family situations, and grandparents

Lots of kids have difficult family situations, and grandparents have an opportunity to be a positive influence. Some grandparents are raising their grandchildren, full or part time, others relate across the country. As many authors as there are in this book, there are ideas. It's a great book for the home library.
