I started out reading this with intent to share it with my 4 year-old grand-daughter and for the most part, I really liked it. The pictures are cute and the storyline reads much like a conversation would between real characters would. I did however become a bit confused as I think she would be in the last pages. It was not explained what happened and I feel that it was left up to the reader to fill in the blanks. That may work for an adult, but not a young child.
