Gratitud

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide
On his sophomore studio effort, Gratitud, Colombian Latin pop singer and songwriter Fonseca continues to refine his synthesis of pop and rock with the tambora, vallenato, and bullerengue rhythms of his native Bogota. Much like Corazon, his debut, Gratitud is mellow, melody-rich, and seductive. The lead single, "Enredame," with its gently pulsing rhythm and soaring chorus, invites listeners to bob their heads and sing along. The rest of Gratitud follows suit, with track after track of memorable tunes that are both smooth and sophisticated. ~ Anthony Tognazzini

    Simply The Best.

I believe you dont have to speak the spanish to love great music. Fonseca is an example. You may not understand what his saying but you can feel the emotion and love in his music. Gratitud comes at a time when everyone including me was wondering how could he live up to his last album 'corazon' and 'Te mando flores' he does it remarkably. gratitud captures 'corazon' and takes it to another level, with the jazz influences and vallenato.
