Overview

The end of the world really sucks.

I knew it wasn’t going to be fun—no one ever associates the endtimes with good times—but I figured I’d be somewhere safe when the meteors hit. Or dead. Not trapped in my office building with a gun nut, a former Boy Scout, and a golden retriever. Yeah, yeah, spare me your chuckles; I can’t help that we’re a perfect little post-apocalyptic family unit. But seriously, how are we supposed to deal with Armageddon if we can’t deal with each other?

We’re stuck, you see. The meteors wiped out a heck of a lot of infrastructure, and rescue is slow in coming. And did I mention the dead are waking up and shuffling around?

Oh, yeah. The dead. They're a really nice little add-on to this apocalypse. They keep coming after us, and there’s more everywhere I look. I think they’re hungry...very hungry.

It gets worse, though: I don't think they can be warded off by sarcasm.

I'm screwed.

I love apocalypse stories especially ones with zombies. This one is well written with plenty of zombies and action. Once this writer gets a little more experience she'll be awesome. I liked the unique spin with the sickness coming from meteor impacts. I also like it being written form a women's perspective. Wish it were longer but definitely wroth .99 and I'll be buying the next in sires and anything else she writes.

>>This was really entertaining! A different take on the genre. Great characters you can get behind. The action is good and there are really some laugh out loud moments. I am adding this author to my short list of favorites like Mark Tufo, Matt Spiro, Robert Decoteau, and Bryan James. If you like their work; you will enjoy this book!
