Overview

Sometimes a secret goes to the grave. Sometimes Secret puts you there.

Secret McQueen, Book 5

It’s been a hell of a year for Secret McQueen, and the last thing in the world she wants is to get caught up in werewolf drama. But when her former fiancé Lucas Rain shows up asking for her help, she knows there’s no easy way out.

After making it known she wants nothing to do with him, Secret agrees to help find Lucas’s wayward sister Kellen. After all, how much trouble could one socialite get into in the city that never sleeps?

Unless that socialite has been spirited away by fairies.

Trying to track down a missing girl in an alternate reality is just the start of Secret’s problems, though. Someone appears to be killing teenagers, and the MO looks eerily similar to something for which the half-fairy oracle, Calliope, might be responsible. Throw in a rogue wolf pack claiming allegiance to Secret’s mother, Mercy, and she’ll have miles to go before she rests.

Warning: This book contains a promise fulfilled, sex that’s out of this world, and more heartache than one hybrid assassin can handle.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
“Readers will enjoy the witty, sarcasm-laden and biting (pardon the pun) narrative of the cool, detached, wisecracking anti-heroine. Terrific one-liners and snappy writing ease the reader into Dean’s supernatural subculture. Thick with familiar material, it’s a smörgåsbord of supernatural themes that works because it doesn’t take itself too seriously.”
4 Stars—RT Book Reviews on Something Secret This Way Comes

“With Secret McQueen, Sierra Dean not only delivers a heroine with one of the coolest names in urban fantasy, but also one with a sarcastic sensibility that speaks directly to my heart. I look forward to learning more about McQueen’s secrets!”
—Jaye Wells, USA Today Bestselling author of the Sabina Kane series on Something Secret This Way Comes

“A brilliantly badass read full of smart writing, inventive thrills, and spicy, sexy fun. Secret McQueen totally delivers!”
—Carolyn Crane, author of The Disillusionists Trilogy

Meet the Author

Ever since Sierra Dean was a young girl she has loved the idea of the supernatural coexisting with the mundane. As an adult, however, the idea evolved from the notion of fairies in flowerbeds, to imagining that the rugged-looking guy at the garage might secretly be a werewolf. She has used her overactive imagination to create her own version of the world, where vampires, werewolves, fairies, gods and monsters all walk among us, and she’ll continue to travel as much as possible until she finds it for real.

    Great book!

Another great story in this series. I love Secret and all her friends. This story picked up where the other book left off and Secret again found herself deep in her troubles with the supernatural world. The author does a great job making you feel what Secret is going thru and draws you into the story. Oh how i hope Secret continues on her journey to figure out where and how she is supposed to be to find happiness while fighting the bad guys along the way. Highly recommend this series!

I think the thing that I love the most about this book in the se

I think the thing that I love the most about this book in the series is that Secret decided she was no longer tolerating a certain pig-headed king's bull crap. She asserted her own dominance, reminding us why she is an alpha female in the first place. Certain events in the story also remind that, even while she is weak, she is NEVER weak! And she refuses to roll over and take what fate throws at her! I love this entire series, but this was the best of the books by far.
