    Math Phobia Alert!

Want a book that is simple yet fun? This is it! That nasty Gmat is coming up and I need to remember (and learn) lots of stuff from yesteryear. I highly recommend it. I can't say enough about how my anxiety diminished and I actually retained the info. This is THE book for 'Math Phobes' like me. It was worth every cent...

    Extremely helpful!!

The book has chapters on all of the areas that one needs to prepare properly for the exam. The review covers topics such as fractions, decimals, and percents (good review), algebra (exponents, signed numbers, solving equations, factoring, square roots), solving word problems (motion problems, integer problems, average problems, work problems, probability problems, and geometry (angles, triangles, pythagorean theorem, perimeter, area, volume). The explanations in this book are very clear. It is easy to understand, particularly the format and organization. It has helped me in my preparations, the tricks, strategies, and shortcuts were extremely helpful. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Not a great GRE prep guide..

They should write in BOLD face : USE THIS BOOK at your own risk. this book is only like a primer to get you started for GRE Math prep.. actual questions that you will land up with iin actual GRE will be far more involving than what this book prepres a reader for.. the practice problems are only very few.. I give it TWO STARS... STAR why??

I got this GRE/GMAT Math Review by David Frieder for my niece who is applying to Graduate School. She had bought several other math reviews, and she told me that this was the best one by far. She can't thank me enough for getting it for her.
