    more from this reviewer

Filled with mathematical & grammatical typos!! Will only confuse you more for the GRE! Definitely do NOT recommend purchasing this!

This book is in desperate need of thorough editing. I've worked through all the math review sections & exercises, and have found tons of mistakes everywhere. It is extremely frustrating trying to learn algebraic rules and geometric properties when there are typos in the formulas themselves.
I've encountered numerous instances where "+" was written as '-', or the radical sign was incorrectly printed as a division sign. And I've wasted so many hours trying to re-work problems I thought I'd gotten wrong, only to realize after perusing their answer key that it was due to a misprint--sometimes in the original question, sometimes in the answer choices, and sometimes in the answer key itself.
Occasionally, their solution is just completely incorrect altogether. I'd look up the problem using other resources (online, math textbooks, friends who were math majors, etc.) and they'd all give the same correct answer that was obviously different from the wrong solution this book provided.
I'm very disappointed with Barron's. Their study guides are usually fairly well-written. How this piece of junk got past their editors is beyond me.
