Meet the Author

Andy Pollin is a leading sports-talk personality in Washington, D.C. He has co-hosted The Sports Reporters (3–7 p.m.) on Sports Talk 980-AM since 1999, and has been with the station since its inception in 1992.

Leonard Shapiro is a Washington, D.C. sports media legend, covering sports for the Washington Post since 1969. He has written several sports books and his work has appeared in Pro Football Weekly, TV Guide, Inside Sports, The Sporting News, Readers Digest, and more. They both live outside Washington, D.C.

    Fun Read for DC Sports Fans

    This was a blast to read. I enjoyed the different perspectives from many of DC's sports personalities. Great work by Leonard Shapiro and Andy Pollin.
